Dairy tubes are used in the food and chemical industries; industries in which many of our customers operate. Dairy tubes have been part of our extensive stock range of welded tubes for a long time.
Dairy tubes EN10357 0.8-0.8 – Available from stock
Dairy tubes according to DIN11850 were the standard for many years. Internal roughnesses of these tubes were 0.8 µm and 1.6 µm. Standards have shifted due to developments in the field of cleanability. As a result, the bar has been raised, making the DIN 11850 dairy tube outdated and largely out of favor. Nowadays, dairy tubes are produced according to the EN10357 norm and the roughnesses of 0.8µm-0.8µm are the prevailing standard. To meet market demands, STAPPERT Noxon has a wide and deep range of EN 10357 dairy tubes in stock, with roughnesses of 0.8µm – 0.8µm. There is also increasing demand from the market for dairy tubes that carry the EHEDG quality mark. Since we only do business with renowned mills, our tubes meet this demand.
Sizes and executions
Our stock range consists of the two most common size systems in the industry: DIN-R2 (Reihe 2 / Series A) and INCH (Series D). We stock both 304L and 316L and in a blank (not polished) execution. We have also supplemented some dimensions in externally polished exections.
Our tubes are not polished internally, but do have internal roughnesses of Ra<0.8/0.8µm. The blank tubes have a pickled finish and are supplied by the mill without tube caps and/or sleeves. They are stamped over the entire length as a standard. The polished tubes are also supplied sleeved by the mill and are provided with a single complete stamping at the end of each tube. For both executions, caps are available upon request.

Marking
To underline the quality of our dairy range, all tubes are marked with the text: “DAIRY TUBE Ra<0.8/0.8µm”. The tubes are stamped over the entire length, including the EHEDG quality mark.
